Kurodani Washi, which has maintained the tradition of 800 years, is regarded as an intangible cultural property designated by Kyoto Prefecture.
At Kuroya Washi Kaikan, in addition to selling processed Washi paper, you can experience making paper (reservation required) and you can also visit the workshop and the data room.
The maple festival is held in November every year.
